In 1876, the first railroad was introduced in Round Rock, Texas, resulting in the relocation of the town’s primary business district. This event rose from the incorporation of the International and Great Northern Railway Company (I. & G. N.), which intended to construct railway access across Texas. In 1876, the I. & G.
